About Me

Welcome! I’m David Loebman, the illustrator and brand designer behind Star Lake Studios. I’ve spent the better part of the last decade blending my love for high fantasy and anime aesthetics with the depth of symbolic storytelling.

My work ranges from helping businesses find their visual voice through strategic design to more personal, long-term passions like my Isekai Tarot Deck, a 5.5-year labor of love successfully funded and launched through Kickstarter. I’m a firm believer that art should be tactile and personal, a philosophy I share through my interviews with PBS and my process updates on Instagram.
